Plainville officials announced that residents may bring their Christmas trees to the transfer station on Granger Lane at any time begging on Thursday, Dec. 26, until Friday, Jan. 17. This service is free for residents.
If you transport your tree using a bag, officials ask that you remove the tree from the bag and dispose of the bag in your regular household trash container.
For those who are unable to transport their tree, the roadways department will be collecting trees from Monday, Jan. 13, through Friday, Jan. 17. Residents are asked to leave their trees at the curb before January 13th.
